The Industar-22 50mm f3.5 is a standard focal length lens made by the Soviet factory KMZ for 35mm rangefinder cameras using the M39 screwmount. When not in use, the lens is collapsible for easier carrying and storage. It has a minimum aperture of f16 and a close focus distance of 1 meter.
This particular model is the less common "Red P" version, denoting its optical coatings. The symbol 'P' or rather 'П' stands for 'покрытый' or 'pokrytiy', signifying that the lens is coated. These coatings enhance contrast, making for superior image quality.
